zoey.
Zoey is an adorable black and white pony standing at around 12 hands, or four feet at the shoulder. When she was young, she found herself in an abusive home, but she was rescued by a caring family. Zoey was not the pony for them, and she soon went from home to home, trying to find a good fit. When we heard about Zoey, we felt she was perfect for our sanctuary! Ponies often have a reputation as being little tricksters, and often get blamed for all the shenanigans that occur on the farm, because they are so smart, and so is Zoey! But she loves kids! She is kind and gentle with them and glad to help them learn to trust horses. She used to give pony rides to our summer camp and birthday kiddos, but has had recent leg problems, so sadly, she can’t anymore. Zoey is usually in the horse pasture or the arena with Zoey and Pepper, but when the weather is warm, they sometimes are moved to the back pasture.
