Willy.

You can recognise Willy as the spotted pig in the first pen. He is a miniature pig who was adopted by a family as a piglet. He lived with a loving family in Auburn and was the pet of the daughter. After the daughter got married and moved out, Willy did not get out for walks, and did not get the time and attention he needed. Willy was bored and soon began to open the cabinets and refrigerator and get himself into a bit of trouble around the house. The family lived upstairs and did not have a yard for Willy. They realized that being outdoors, on a farm, would be the best place for Willy to live out his life. Willy brought his bed, that he shared with the daughter, with him to SAS. If you are visiting on the weekend, you may just see Willy’s former family members taking Willy for a walk along the SAS trails!
