Sweetheart is the gray-brown and white spotted donkey in Pasture 2. She looks very different from her baby, Sweet Dreams. When she came to us, she was way too thin, had lice and needed lots of healing. She had been in an unloving home and did NOT trust people and would not go near them. It took several long months of care and love until Sweetheart learned to trust and appreciate people. Now she is the friendliest and will follow our visitors around–and pick their pockets if you have food in them! In the early evening you will sometimes see Sweetheart and Sweet Dreams running and playing in the pastures!
