Frilly.

Frilly is a light brown Scottish Highlander heifer, with large horns. We rescued her when she was 10 days old after she would not nurse from her mom and her owners did not want to bother with bottle feeding her. That was a lucky thing for Frilly, because she was bred for meat. It took a lot of patience to teach Frilly to drink from a bottle, but she finally caught on and we fed her like that several times a day for 3 months. This likely contributed to Frilly becoming as gentle as a cow can be! We do keep our guests out of her pasture as she has some pretty big horns that might cause injuries on accident, so be careful! Frilly’s good looks and gentle ways makes her a fan favorite! Her pen is right across from Pasture 2, and has things like a back scratcher that you can use to pet her!
